As part of our comprehensive medical linen services, we launder medical linens we rent out to you, but we will also launder your facility-owned linens.

Contaminated Laundry

Contaminated laundry, according to OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, is “any laundry that has been contaminated with blood or other potentially infectious material or may contain sharps”. BioMedical Recovery Systems can supply you with biohazard laundry bags and leak-proof, color-coded or labeled containers to store contaminated laundry. It will remain safely contained until your scheduled pickup day.

You will have a separate storage area for non-contaminated laundry, which will also be clearly marked. This is for the safety of your employees, your patients and anyone else who comes into your facility.

Pickup, Transport and Delivery Back to You

Most of our clients operate on a weekly pickup and delivery schedule. On your pickup day, our friendly staff will arrive and use the proper safety precautions as we remove both your contaminated laundry and non-contaminated laundry. Then, we will transport your laundry to our facility, where it will be sorted and laundered.

We provide a 24-hour turnaround time, and can deliver your healthcare linens back to you the next day. For your convenience, we also offer emergency laundry services as needed. Our goal is to provide you with healthcare laundry services that exceed your expectations.
